The YMCA of Orange County will open the doors to the newly renovated preschool center in Diamond Bar, the YMCA Early Learning Center, with a ceremony on Feb. 9 and open house Feb. 10.

With services dedicated to the Pomona Valley community, the center will provide experiences for up to 78 children, ages 18 months through pre-kindergarten, with four newly renovated classrooms, new equipment and outdoor play spaces.

The YMCA Early Learning Center builds children’s confidence, creativity, and critical thinking skills through an immersive, collaborative learning environment. Programs support the cognitive, socialemotional, spiritual, physical, language and literacy development of all children.

The YMCA of Orange County acquired and managed operations and facilities of the YMCA of Pomona Valley beginning in 2017. This new partnership has allowed the YMCA to provide strong programs and services and continue its commitment to serving the community in Pomona and surrounding areas.
