Well, I’m happy to say I made it through the first month of 2018 in one piece.

My parents have been on an amazing world cruise. Interestingly, many people I have told in their generation have expressed jealousy – a world cruise is on their bucket list too.

I can’t at this time in my life, imagine leaving my home, work, friends, commitments, for five months. And now I understand that when I’m retired and at that stage in my life, I would be so lucky to travel around the world on a cruise, visiting places I dreamed of, and even those I didn’t know existed!

I’ll include a photo from their trip just to increase our wistfulness. As I’m writing this, only 90 days 16 hours, 53 minutes and 40 seconds until they return home. We miss them!

For me, yes, life is indeed getting more hectic, but also, more amazing. You’re the first people I’m telling, and I don’t talk much, aloud, about this, but did you see my TLC Special that premiered a couple weeks ago on television?

Well, if you didn’t, never fear, it plays again often!

It’s called Dr Pimple Popper, and it’s a show that follows me in my office here in dear ole Upland, California, taking care of patients with various lumps and bumps.

I was truly terrified the night it premiered. I thought people would think it was silly and hate it, but wow, the reception I’ve received has been beyond fabulous! As Sally Field said, you like me, you really like me! Stay tuned for a Dr Pimple Popper SERIES on TLC sometime later this year! Now to find the patients for this television show!

And…I have a book coming out later this year! I can’t believe it but it’s true. More, I can’t believe how much more I want to add to it before I relinquish the final draft! It’s truly overwhelming sometimes, but all I can do it put one foot in front of another, it’s one step at a time. So, look out for my book, too!
