Aleta Jacobson, an award-winning collage, acrylic and mixed media artist, will demonstrate printing without a press, 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 12, at the Associated Artists of the Inland Empire’s General Meeting.

Jacobson will use a gelatin plate to create original prints and collage papers for mixed media pieces.

Jacobson has studied under artists such as Skip Lawrence, Christopher Schinks, Sylvia Megerdichian, Gerald Brommer, Robert Burridge, and Chris Cozen. She has won numerous award for her artwork and currently teaches in Claremont and Upland.

Nancy Kasten, an award-winning artist and teacher, will show some of her latest paintings as AAIE Exhibiting Artist. Kasten, a founding member of AAIE, teaches oil painting through the City of Ontario.

The public is invited to attend AAIE’s General Meetings. There is a $3 entrance fee for members; $5 for non-members.

AAIE meets the second Wednesday of each month at 9:30 a.m., at the Rancho Cucamonga Community Center, 11200 Baseline Road, Rancho Cucamonga.
