Acclaimed playwright, actor and educator Anna Deavere Smith will be at Pomona College Feb. 28 for a screening of her film “Notes from the Field” followed by an in-depth conversation with Pomona College President G. Gabrielle Starr.

This event will be at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 28, in Pomona College’s Bridges Auditorium, 450 N. College Way, Claremont. The event is free, ticketed and open to the public.

Smith’s Obie Award-winning one-woman show “Notes from the Field” was named a Top 10 Play of the Year by Time Magazine and Best in Theater of 2016 by The New York Times, and then adapted into an HBO film.
