The Draft Supplemental Environmental Impact Report for the Glendora to Montclair Project is available for review, with a public hearing on the light rail project scheduled April 16 in La Verne.
The purpose of the Draft SEIR and the public meeting is to evaluate changes proposed to the phasing and design of the 12.3-mile, six-station Metro Gold Line Foothill Extension Phase 2B Project (Project) – also known as the Foothill Gold Line from Glendora to Montclair – and to solicit public feedback on the Draft SEIR.
The Draft SEIR has concluded that one new significant unmitigable traffic impact will occur as a result of the proposed changes to the project, at the intersection of GlendoraAvenue/Route 66. All other impacts have been mitigated to less than significant levels.
The public review and comment period opened March 22 and concludes May 6. The public hearing will be 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday,April 16 at the La Verne Community Center, 3680 D Street, La Verne.
