Chino Hills residents interested in serving on the Parks and Recreation Commission are invited to complete an application to fill a vacancy created when Parks and Recreation Commissioner Patrick Hamamoto was named to the Planning Commission.

Applications must be returned by 4 p.m. Friday, May 31 to the City Clerk’s Office at City Hall, 14000 City Center Drive. Interviews may be scheduled, leading to possible nomination and final affirmation by the City Council.

The Parks and Recreation Commission meets at 7 p.m. on the third Wednesday of each month to review issues related to parks, recreation, community events, and programs.

Commissioners work with community sports organizations and provide input to the design of park and recreation facilities.

Applications are available online at www.chinohills.org/PandRCommissionApp and at Chino Hills City Hall, 14000 City Center Drive, on the second floor in the City Clerk’s Lobby.
