The Christmas on Euclid Experience, a community tradition since 1922, transforms Ontario’s historic Euclid Avenue with block upon block of beautiful lights. This year a new exhibition of festive lights and decorations that will be on display throughout the holiday season.
Tree lighting will be 6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6 at Ontario Town Square with food vendors, local dance groups, and the arrival of Santa are planned for the event. Bring your lawn chairs or a blanket and enjoy the free family fun event to watch, Prancer, a classic movie favorite outside under the stars with the community.
From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14, the annual Christmas on Euclid Craft Fair and Festival will be at Ontario Town Square. Families are invited to enjoy the holiday market, craft fair, snow play, horse drawn carriage rides, ice skating, live performances and so much more.
New for 2019 is relocation of the 5K Reindeer Run to Euclid Avenue. Starting at 7 a.m. Dec. 14, everyone is invited to a pancake breakfast by the Kiwanis Club, not only the participants but those that cheer them on will enjoy great food and excitement at the start of the race. The race has evolved into a community and family event with over 2,500 participants.
The Inaugural Soap Box Derby will race down Euclid Avenue between “G” Street and “E” with the race starting at 11 a.m. For more information, please visit www.GOcvb.org.
