The Auxiliary Board at Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center (PVHMC) is hosting a fall volunteer recruitment drive. There are many ways community members can get involved, through customer service, education, arts and more. While learning, growing and meeting new friends, volunteers at PVHMC are given a chance to help make a real difference in the lives of the patients and families that walk through the Hospital’s doors. The Auxiliary Board was established in 1937 by 24 volunteers dedicated to serving the Hospital. Since its birth the primary goal has been to further the best interests of the Hospital, and to walk alongside them in the promotion of its activities. Volunteers can serve patients and their families directly or indirectly and are placed based on their strengths and comfort level. Volunteer opportunities range from playing live music, driving a shuttle, working in the Tender Touch Gift Shop and more.
