2016 Chateau Reynier, Bordeaux Superieur

From my French winemaking friend Marc LURTON. Every part of this delicious red is ample and satisfying from its smooth and soulful start to its long and lingering leave. Juicy, round and supple red fruits dominate but sweet savory oak notes fill in the background in this beautifully balanced, elegant but richly flavored blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 50% Merlot. Dark, deep, red color with rich berry fruit aromas. Agraceful, full body with soft oak tannins. Very limited Estate release. 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 60% Merlot. Great value French red. Available at Liquorama in Upland. $17.99 Ferrari-Carano, Fumé Blanc Sonoma County Produced from premium Sauvignon Blanc grapes, this popular white offer zesty flavors and aromas of tropical fruit such as kiwi, gooseberry, pineapples and mangos with a hint of grassiness. Complemented by creamy citrus notes. Acrisp freshness and a subtle oak character deliver great complexity and depth. Nice with wide selection of light appetizers and dinner entrees. La Marca, Prosecco Sparkling Wine In the heart of Italy’s lush Prosecco region, the La Marca Trevigiana zone grows the revered Glera grape variety. With delicate, golden straw color and lively effervescence, this Prosecco is one of the best with aromas of fresh citrus, honey and white flowers. The palate is fresh and clean, with flavors of ripe lemon, green apple and grapefruit framed by mineral undertones.
