"We shape our buildings, thereafter they shape us." A quote by the late Winston Churchill as no stranger to the interconnected form and function ones' home can have on their personality and lifestyle.

How is LA's rare home diversity beneficial to the luxury RE industry and buyer?

LA is & has always been an emerging player at the artistic epicenter, and architecture and design are no different. Leaders of the industry from around the city adopt recent trends, revive historic favorites, and risk new exploration because, frankly, there are people in Los Angeles who will appreciate such.

What are some favorite styles this year and who tends to be interested in each?

Most clients come to us looking for a specific style based on personal preference. However, busy business/management careers and chaotic lifestyles often gravitate toward a clean contemporary home. In the past 5 years, we have seen a rise in interest for mid-century revivals, often for professionals in a creative industry such as fashion, food, or music. Buyers coming Internationally and from East Coast locations appreciate the traditional Italian Renaissance or even English Regency.

Finally, what are some popular amenity trends we are seeing?

Since Covid-19, we see more interest in families looking at floor plans for kids or in-laws, home theaters, gyms, and gated driveways. We see entertainers or collectors with must-haves like a caterers' kitchen, an infinityedge pool with a view, or even a 15-car garage. But, it's LA, and we have it all.
