THE REBRANDED DELANO PROVIDES SUITE-BASED LUXURY TO
ALL GUESTS
South Beach has a home in Sin City.
An $80 million overhaul that transformed THEhotel at
Mandalay Bay created Delano, a chic, 1,100-room all-suite hotel with a boutique
flair.
Sleep: Delano’s spacious one bedroom suites span 725
square feet and feature spa-style baths, a separate living area and flat screen
TVs. The primarily white rooms, adorned with gold accents and desert-inspired
touches, average $200 a night. Panoramic suites are also available. Sup: It’s
“farm-to-Strip” at Della’s Kitchen, which sources regional and local
ingredients, including herbs from its own greenhouse, for a unique spin on
comfort food. Menu offerings include blue crab Benedict and duck panini in a
sleek, industrial setting.
Sip: Cocktails are high art at Franklin, the hotel’s
eclectic lobby lounge. Guests can socialize and sip libations spun from rare
premium liquors, like the New Deal, a cognac-based drink sweetened with golden
plum marmalade. Spa: Guests can unwind at the two story 14,000-square-foot
Bathhouse Spa where whirlpools, steam rooms and saunas take the edge off. The
spa’s treatment menu features local ingredients, like desert oils and
wildflowers, as well as influences from afar to balance your chakras.
