POOLSIDE PLEASURES
For
something light and refreshing, the Pool Cafe at Mandarin Oriental
serves alcohol ice pops. Choices include the Creamy Margarita pop made
with tequila, lime juice, condensed milk and tequila salt, and the
Roasted Strawberry Sangria pop made with strawberries, sweet red wine
and balsamic vinegar.
The
Neapolitan at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas’ Boulevard Pool also serves
a selection of adult popsicles and playful booze-driven concoctions.
The Peanut Butter Jelly Time is an adult PB&J made with raspberry
jam, purée and liqueur, lemon juice, vanilla syrup and raspberries
served between peanut butter cookies.
ICE-COLD INDULGENCES
Serendipity
3 at Caesars Palace is a popular spot to “chill,” offering a menu of
drug store sundaes guests can enjoy inside the restaurant or order at
its to-go window. In addition to such fun flavors as the deep-fried
Twinkie sundae and carrot cake sundae, the whimsical eatery serves a
selection of alcoholic and non alcoholic “Frrrozen” hot chocolates.
For
a unique location to escape summer’s triple-digit temps, head to a
Minus5 Ice Bar inside Monte Carlo or the Shoppes at Mandalay Place.
Guests will be given a coat, gloves and boots to wear inside the ice bar
as they enjoy their cocktail “in the rocks.” The Iceman is a flavorful
mix of Sobieski Vodka, Raspberry Di Amore and fruit juices. All
cocktails come in imported Canadian glasses made entirely of ice.
