The Springs Preserve’s annual Haunted Harvest (Oct. 16 to 18, 23 to 25, and 30 to 31 from 5 to 9 p.m.) is fun for boys and ghouls of all ages and features a haunted maze, trick-or-treat stations, carnival games and more.

Shark Reef Aquarium’s Haunted Reef at Mandalay Bay (Oct. 30 to Nov. 1, www.sharkreef.com) is another popular event with families, as the aquatic attraction’s dim lights and eerie decorations line the tunnels.

Fright Dome at Circus Circus (select nights Oct. 2 to 31, www.frightdome.com) is a 250,000-scare-foot theme park recommended for guests age 12 and older.
