UPCOMING SHOWS VEGAS VISITORS WON’T WANT TO MISS

Temperatures might be cooling off, but the entertainment scene in Las Vegas is as hot as ever this holiday season. Several big-name acts will be joining the already star-studded Vegas lineup in December and January.

Legendary comedian Jerry Seinfeld will be returning to the Colosseum at Caesars Palace for two can’t-miss performances on Dec. 26 and 27 (thecolosseum.com). Maroon 5 will return to Sin City for the band’s fifth consecutive year of New Year’s Eve performances, rocking the Mandalay Bay Events Center on Dec. 30 and 31 (mandalaybay.com).

The Righteous Brothers featuring Bill Medley and Bucky Heard will continue their hit residency inside Harrah’s Las Vegas select dates through Dec. 29 (harrahslasvegas.com). Guests are guaranteed the time of their life and can even attend a meet-and-greet with Medley following the performance by purchasing a VIP ticket.

British musical icon Van Morrison will be performing in Las Vegas this winter as well, headlining two shows inside the Colosseum at Caesars Palace on Jan. 13 and 14 (thecolosseum.com). A copy of his new CD, “Keep Me Singing,” is included with every ticket purchased.

Even a few production shows will be getting into the holiday spirit. Singing comedy-ventriloquist Terry Fator’s Bing Crosby-style holiday show, “Terry Fator: The Voice of Entertainment Presents a Very Terry Christmas,” runs select nights through Dec. 22 at the Mirage (mirage.com). Audiences can also enjoy a jolly game of whodunit when the interactive dinner show “Marriage Can Be Murder” at the D Las Vegas gets a festive makeover Dec. 5 through Jan. 2 (thed.com).
