Beers with a bed

Las Vegas’ first “Bed & Brewski” room package is a partnership between the Downtown Grand Hotel and Casino and near by Tenaya Creek Brewery. Guests booking the minimum two-night experiential package will be greeted with a six-pack of their chosen brew upon check-in. A private brewery tour will include either a five-beer sampler or one pint and 25% off additional beers at both the Tenaya Creek bar and all Tenaya Creek beers at Downtown Grand Bars during their stay. No driver? No problem

The nation’s first self-driving shuttle for the public is operating in the Fremont East “Innovation District” of downtown Las Vegas and providing a first hand experience with autonomous vehicle technology. The eight-passenger, full-electric vehicle operated by Keolis North America is integrated with the city’s traffic infrastructure, and guides guests through 12-minute, 0.6-mile loop for free Tuesday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. There are three stops: Fremont Street and 6th; Container Park on Fremont Street; and Carson and 7th. All the rage

Wreck Room is a new rage room destruction experience, offering guests a half-hour “smashing good time” in a controlled environment. Four separate rooms are available for one to six participants to pulverize printers, TVs and more. A full suit, face mask, gloves and foot protection along with wrecking weapon are provided. Rage relief is available daily from 2 to 10 p.m. A standard single package starts at $35, with custom wreck sessions available.
