GIADA DE LAURENTIIS’ NEW DIGSACASUAL, RELAXING SPOTTOSNACKOR SIP
It’s the best of all worlds: hip coffee, gourmet nosh and dozens of California and Italian wines by the glass — all brought to you by Giada De Laurentiis at her new Strip eatery, Pronto by Giada.
Giada’s ultra-casual café
—situated in Caesars Palace —is for early risers, casual eaters and
sophisticated drinkers who don’t take themselves too seriously. There’s
grab-and-gofare for breakfast, lunch and dinner: house-made pastries,
panini, salads, gooey grilled cheese sandwiches, antipasti platters and
made-to-order smoothies. Enjoy Counter Culture coffee, made with
responsibly sourced beans.
The
undeniable centerpiece of the eatery is the full-service bar, which
features one of the largest wine-by-the-glass programs in Vegas, not to
mention beer and signature cocktails. Here you can relax and soak up the
ambiance (i.e., watch the overstuffed waddle out of the Bacchanal
Buffet) as you sip.Caesars Palace wine director Phil Park put together a
list of 40 wines by the glass, but if you love
one, get a bottle. Can’t decide? Order a flight of wines that features
3-ounce pours of three varieties. The wine list helps newcomers to
Italian wines: tasting notes to accompany Italian grape varieties, from
Arneis to Vermentino.
If
beer is your thing, choose from among craft selections such as
Rekorderlig strawberry-lime hard cider and Unibroue La Fin Du Monde. The
exclusive Rose Gold cocktail is made with Plymouth Gin, Lillet Rose,
and Giffard Creme de Pamplemousse Rose. Pair your beverage with special
Giada-ified bar snacks such as goat cheesestuffed peppers, grilled
artichokes and Italian meats and cheeses.
Don’t forget some De Laurentiis merch —spend the rest of your trip proudly sporting your “Fluent in Giada” T-shirt.
