Bill Wedmore, an agent for Prudential California Realty of Laguna Beach was recently honored with the presentation of five letters of commendation. He received these letters in appreciation and commendation for “his outstanding and invaluable achievement in service, “to our retired veterans and especially our numerous homeless veterans in Southern California.

On hand to present the awards were Sergeant Leroy Huff, USMCR and Ms. Kismet Evans. Sergeant Huff served five tours in Viet Nam (Lieutenant Wedmore served three tours), and Kismet Evans received the 2008 California Peace Prize award (which included a $25,000 check) from the California Wellness Foundation.

Special Congressional Recognition, presented by Joe Baca of the 43rd Congressional District; “ … in recognition of your dedicated support to the Inland Empire Veterans Stand Down;” from California State Senator Gloria N. McLeod of the 32nd District; “… in honor of your support to non-profit agencies in the Inland Empire;” from Assembly Member, Wilmer A. Carter, “… a Certificate of Recognition in appreciation of continued dedication and service to local veterans and their families;” presented by San Bernardino, Fifth District Supervisor, Josie Gonzales.
