NORTH TUSTIN NEIGHBORS WORK TO END HUNGER IN ORANGE COUNTY

It’s hard to fathom that in affluent Orange County thousands of individuals go hungry every day. So Team Kociela of First Team Estates, along w/North Tustin neighbors, have joined together in an effort to support the Second Harvest Food Bank.

These wonderful residents have graciously opened their cupboards & overloaded grocery bags in an effort to help stamp out hunger in our community.

The food drive saw Team Kociela members knocking on 600 doors of residents filled w/open hearts & holiday cheer. Erin Kociela, REALTOR ® , said, “Even in a tough economy when everyone is struggling, the gift of giving is alive & well.”

Under the guidance of the Council of Orange, Society of St. Vincent de Paul, the Food Bank has provided more than 260 million pounds of donated & surplus food to local charities since 1983. They currently serve over 450 member charities that reach the hungry, including church pantries, shelters, senior centers, rehabilitation centers, homes for abused women & children & many other emergency assistance organizations.
