  Paid Advertisement Surterre Properties hosts successful eWaste, shred event Surterre Properties’ recent Newport Beach eWaste and document shredding drive, held at Surterre’s headquarters on Oct. 27, collected about 5,928 pounds of electronic waste and shredded almost 5,580 pounds of confidential documents. For the event, Surterre and the Newport Beach community’s commitment to Pro- Shred’s environmentally conscious shredding and recycling service saved 76 trees. This year’s four Newport Beach eWaste and document shredding events saved about 209 trees, and approximately 19,815 pounds of confidential documents were shred on site. For all of the community events held this year, 376 trees were saved and 38,695 pounds of confidential documents were shred on site. A total of 126 participants dropped off waste and documents for recycling at the October event. A free service held on a quarterly basis in different areas of Orange County, Surterre’s eWaste and document shredding drives offer individuals an easy way to keep the planet clean.
