Surterre

Properties recently hosted its quarterly Newport Beach area e-Waste and document shredding drive.

Held at the real estate firm’s Newport Beach headquarters on Saturday, Aug. 3, the event did a tremendous amount of good for the environment.

Jim Weisenbach, a Surterre agent who oversees the Newport Beach event, reported that 125 cars with participants and their unwanted electronics and documents drove through.

Surterre was able to help collect approximately 2,670 pounds of electronic waste and shred approximately

7,650 pounds of sensitive documents on-site. Surterre and the Newport Beach community’s commitment to ProShred’s environmentally conscious shredding and recycling service helped save 38 trees.
