enthusiasts from all over the irvine area will have the opportunity to pedal down to Pavilion Park on Saturday, May 24th, as the first Great Park Neighborhood hosts aBike Safety Camp from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Everyone who rides a bicycle is invited.
This special event, cohosted by the Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) as part of its Bike Month celebration, will feature all things cycling. OCTA will be providing bike safety information and special giveaways. Officers from the irvine Police department will be issuing bicycle licenses required by the state of California free of charge. And the local police will organize a kids Safety Rodeo...the bicycle equivalent of a driver’s safety course. Joining in the fun will be the Orange County Bicycle Coalition, who will be on hand to sign up new members. So pedal on down to Pavilion Park on May 24th and meet your

Camp activities will take place at the more than 5-acre park that is the centerpiece of Pavilion Park.
