building overlooking the Pacific Ocean and Santa Monica’s new Tongva Park, will welcome Joan’s on Third and Starbucks, while The Seychelle will host Searsucker’s first location in Los Angeles. This array of dining options will offer residents a destination restaurant, a gourmet marketplace, and a premium coffee shop, complementing the array of shopping and entertainment within walking distance in surrounding Santa Monica.

Originally opened in 1998 as a catering company on Third Street in Los Angeles, Joan’s on
Third blossomed into aLos Angeles culinary landmark. Familyowned and operated, the company offers an extensive gourmet marketplace, delicatessen and full-service catering and event planning company. The Santa Monica location is slated to open in 2015.

As the quintessential neighbourhood coffee shop, Starbucks will bring its premium coffeehouse experience to The Waverly with its new “Evenings” concept serving its Starbucks Reserve coffee and, after 4 p.m., wine, beer and small plates.
Ocean Avenue South’s two luxury residential buildings The Waverly, which welcomed
its first residents in early-June 2014, and The Seychelle in August, together command a 3.7-acre site along Ocean Avenue, just one block from the Pacific Ocean. The property is bordered on the south by Viceroy Santa Monica, and to the north by the new 6-acre Tongva Park.
