Under the Tuscan spell
Old World aesthetics surround modern amenities throughout the floor plan, which offers expansive living spaces lined in wood and stone. A new site for his moment of zen
On the corner of the second story, the 2,200-square-foot master suite takes in city views through walls of glass and a wraparound balcony. Amenities such as awine cellar, a movie theater, a cigar room, a cabana and a threecar auto gallery fill out the rest of the house.

Branching out beyond olive trees
Not content with being one of the foremost producers of olive oil in California — at one point accounting for 15% of the state’s output — McNally and son-in-law Edwin Neff soon began planning development of a rural retreat for the wealthy, to be built on the remaining 1,600 acres.

Deals make a big splash
Designed by architect Richard Meier, the main house and guesthouse feature teak wood siding, automated shutters and windows and wraparound balconies that face the ocean. The two homes combine for about 8,000 square feet of living space with seven bedrooms and nine bathrooms.

‘The heart of the house’
The Mexican actor, 45, is best known for playing the flamboyant and charismatic telenovela star, Rogelio De La Vega, on “Jane the Virgin,” which begins its fifth and final season on the CW network March 27. Camil is also set to star in and executive produce a new comedy, “Riches to Rags,” on CBS.
