Dan Ramos started in the swimming pool industry over 30 years ago as a masonry helper working with a high-end builder in New England. Working with his hands and learning the trade of masonry art, he started on the course that would become his career. From cleaning pools to learning the mechanics and hydraulics of residential and commercial swimming pools, Dan rose to new heights, eventually mastering the art of building and remodeling swimming pools. His work in high-end pool remodeling and design continued when he moved to San Diego.

Dan launched his own business, Distinguished Pools, in a quest to build the best swimming pool company in the San Diego region. Distinguished Pools was born to provide exceptional professional service in the swimming pool industry, as well as some of the most unique pool builds and remodels ever seen. Working with top craftsman in San Diego, Distinguished Pools provides its clients with a piece of “art in water,” not just a backyard pool.
