Jamul Casino, already known as San Diego County’s closest, most generous, and most fun casino, has even more accolades after clinching top spots in San Diego’s Best Union-Tribune Readers Poll.

Tony Gwynn’s Sports Pub maintained its winning ways, scoring “Best Sports Bar” for the seventh year running, while also being voted “Best Burger.” San Diegans love its great food, diverse brews, friendly service and prime sports viewing.

Other Jamul Casino restaurants also chalked up some big wins. Loft 94 won “Best Noodle House” and “Best Sushi.” Prime Cut Steak & Seafood, with its stunning views and elegant atmosphere, was voted “Most Romantic Restaurant,” while The Rooftop took “Most Scenic Spot” and “Best Place to Get Married.”

Team Jamul won big, too, sweeping all the awards in the individual categories. Tony Gwynn’s Chef Michael Castaneda won “Best Chef,” Donald Donathan “Best Restaurant Server,” and JIVe Lounge’s Rachel Serrano won “Best Bartender.” Six other members of Team Jamul were selected as reader favorites.
