Dr. Merilynn Yamada, founder of Buena Vista Orthodontics in 1990, is honored and grateful to have been voted among the Best of Burbank for more than 12 years in a row!

Part of the wonderful Burbank community for more than 20 years. Dr. Yamada is fortunate to have a wonderful staff and views them and her patients to be part of her extended family.

She specializes in esthetic orthodontics doing both clear and inside braces and is a Platinum provider of invisalign.

She feels it is very important for children to be first evaluated at 7 or 8 years, because often an early start helps to get superior results and could even help children breathe better and develop better!

For patients who have TMJ problems, headaches or snoring problems, she offers a variety of treatments. Investing in innovative technology and education has allowed her patients to experience greater comfort and the ability to finish treatment faster.
