Mark Weinstein is the founder and president of MJW Investments, as well as the majority owner of its diversified real estate portfolio. He is widely regarded as a thought leader in the multifamily sector, a philanthropist, and a mentor to young real estate professionals.

Weinstein started out his career in law and founded MJW with the acquisition of a single, five-unit property while completing his JD at Loyola Law School.

After purchasing his first property, Weinstein discovered the potential of real estate investment and development. MJW focused largely on development until 2007, when the company began acquiring student housing. Under the leadership and expertise of Weinstein, MJW has become a full-service, vertically integrated real estate company with a portfolio valued at over $1 billion. Weinstein is the majority owner of MJW’s portfolio, with over 1,000 multifamily units and 7,000 student housing beds across eight states.
