Rob Ellin’s vision and leadership are the core to his success as an entrepreneur. He built LiveOne into a global company reaching 179+ countries while also running a hedge fund. With a goal of bringing thousands of hours of live music content into the digital realm through mutually beneficial relationships with bands, fans and brands, he launched LiveOne in 2015. He raised the initial capital and negotiated festival and distribution rights. In December 2017, he took LiveOne public, making the amalgamation of audio, video and live-streaming mainstream.

Ellin further expanded LiveOne, spearheading its transformation by acquiring companies that would grow it into an end-to-end music and entertainment platform. While many businesses shut down during the pandemic, he expanded LiveOne by bringing live-streaming entertainment to the forefront with original franchises, exclusive video content, digital and virtual events, growing LiveOne from 76 employees to 209 from 2019 to 2021.
