Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center has entered the 2014 Medline Pink Glove Dance Video Competition, hoping to win a $15,000 donation to a breast cancer charity. The hospital submitted a video that features hospital employees, breast cancer survivors and firefighters dancing to the song “Happy” by Pharrell Williams. They all wore pink exam gloves to celebrate hope for a cure through the joy of dancing and honor all those affected by the disease. Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center and the La Verne Fire Department also have a goal of raising more than $2,000 for the Susan G. Komen charity. “Putting this video together for the Medline Pink Glove Dance has been a labor of love for all of us and we are so excited to participate in this national competition,” said Martha Osborne, a breast health nurse navigator. View the video at http:// bit.ly/WyT5jp and vote for the hospital’s Pink Glove Video once a day through Sept. 23. The winners will be announced Oct. 2.
