Marking October as National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, vintners, restaurateurs and wine retailers are stepping up to support women’s health.

Brenda Ruocco, Director of Wholesale Operations at South Coast Winery in nearby Temecula Valley Wine Country, brings to your attention Rock the Pink Syrah and Primitivo Rose Sparking releases, available at the winery for $19.99 each.

She joined guitarist Erik Turner, WARRANT, who collaborates with South Coast Winery on his brand of WARRANT and Erik Turner premium wines.

“Erik is a fan and supporter of resource and support center located in Temecula, serving women, men and families throughout the Inland Empire and Southern California,” Ruocco said.

The wines selected are tributes to those that have been touched by cancer battle.

“Celebrate life and every aspect that cure,” Ruocco said.

Rock the Pink Syrah

The aroma is forthcoming; richly peppered with spicy berry and violets, smoky oak and a long delicate fragrance of lavender. The wine is hefty, muscular; distinctively vibrant in its full bodied richness. Soft, velvety tannins surround the lush berry fruit and red licorice favors.
