KABOOM! Fairplex’s patriotic Fourth of July fireworks, monster trucks,s extreme motocross and human cannonball extravaganza return 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 4, in the Fairplex grandstand.

The event is the 31st annual fireworks spectacular at Fairplex. Monster trucks and Moto X extreme get the crowd cheering and the stupendous fireworks are the grand finale. Parking is $10 at Gate 17 on Fairplex Dr. Gates open at 5 p.m.

CLAREMONT Parade 3 p.m., 10th Street and Indian Hill Boulevard. Flag Raising Ceremony 10 a.m. Memorial Park, 840 North Indian Hill Boulevard. Concert and Fireworks Show 6:30 p.m., Pomona College Strehle Track featuring “The Silverados,” Fireworks Show and Kiwanis BBQ

DIAMOND BAR Music begins at 5 p.m. with big fireworks at 9 p.m. The celebration is free, Diamond Bar High School, 21400 Pathfinder Road.

FONTANA Festivities and music begin at 6 p.m. with fireworks to follow at 9 p.m. Tickets are $4. Event at Fontana High School, 9453 Citrus Ave.

LA VERNE Annual parade crosses Old Town at 10 a.m., followed by a country fair at Roynon Elementary School, 2715 E St. Fireworks Show, at 6 p.m., Bonita High School, 3102 “D” Street. Gates open 6 p.m. and show begins 7 p.m., with fireworks at 9 p.m. Tickets are $6 and $7, and free for children ages 4 and younger.

ONTARIO Independence Day Parade at 9 a.m., Euclid Ave., Downtown.Blast at the Bandstand, picnic at 10:30 a.m.
