ARTstART: April 27 High school members of the Claremont Museum of Art’s Project ARTstART will install ARTstART: StART It Up, an overview exhibition of works on paper, collage, sculptures, and paintings.
ARTstARTers will host art ART in the Park 3:30 p.m. Friday, April 27 in Memorial Park, at 840 N. Indian Hill Blvd., Claremont. The StART It Up exhibition will be on view in the nearby Claremont Heritage Ginger Elliott Exhibition Center.
Project ARTstART, a Claremont Museum of Art education program, trains high school students, working with college mentors, to provide exhibit-based art lessons for elementary school students.

Take the Art Tour The Claremont Chorale invites you to “Casa Clements Art Tour,” 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, April 28, to enjoy art, music, and refreshments while raising funds for the Chorale. This event caps the “Growing Beyond our 50th” campaign, with a goal of $8,000.

The tour includes the home of Marcyn Del Clements - avid birder, adventurous traveler, poet and musician - who has filled her home with art from around the world and nearby.
Local artists will exhibit work for sale and musicians will performing all afternoon.
San Dimas volunteers The San Dimas Equestrian Commission and the City are looking for volunteers for the annual trail clean-up project scheduled for Saturday, April 28 with a rain-date of May 5. Each year the Commission hosts a trail clean-up of trails in and adjacent to Horsethief Canyon Park.
The clean-up will take place from 9 a.m. to noon with refreshments and lunch provided. The City will provide guidance and some tools. Volunteers are asked to bring gloves and wear sturdy shoes. Volunteers must be at least 10 years of age.
