The holiday season is often a time of mixed emotions for the 2,000 foster and community youth served by Orangewood Foundation in Santa Ana. It can bring up painful memories of the past or be a reminder of what they don’t have.

Although it cannot erase the hurts from childhood that they may have experienced, Orangewood Foundation provides the love, encouragement, and support to make their holidays bright.

Here are a few ways you can help Orangewood’s youth this holiday season:

1. Donate new, unwrapped items or gift cards from our Holiday Wish List for youth.

Hurry!...gifts are needed by Monday, Dec. 18 th.

2. Create a personalized “My Orangewood” fundraising page and direct family and friends to donate to Orangewood in lieu of holiday gifts for you.

3. Make a holiday or year-end cash donation.

Your generosity this time of year in whatever amount or degree is appreciated and lets Orangewood’s youth know that there are people in the community who care about them!
