At United Way, we fight for the Education, Health, Housing and Financial Stability of every person in Orange County.

Our community’s problems are complex and interconnected. We can’t focus only on education for a child who is hungry and doesn’t have a stable home, access to healthy foods or the opportunity for an active lifestyle. And finding a job doesn’t always mean a parent will have the income needed to support a family.

We have four issues and one community. To make a difference for everyone, we must be UNITED4OC.

We mobilize the caring power of the community to create brighter futures for every child and family in Orange County.

• Over 2,000 OC students drop out of high school every year. United, we help struggling students graduate from high school and prepare to succeed.

• 1 in 4 of our residents live in poverty. United, we work to close the poverty gap for local families.

• 1/3 of our children are overweight or obese. United, we focus on programs that promote healthy eating and active living.

• 28,000 OC children and their families are homeless or housinginsecure. United, we provide access to stable housing and help prevent future homelessness.
