The Plaza

The Plaza Hotel & Casino has capped off its Dean Martin-meets-Gucci revamp. Expect marble floors and opulent chandeliers paired with framed relics from the downtown hotel’s four-decade history. The $35-million overhaul included all guest rooms. Even the Plaza’s iconic dome lights were replaced with 48,000 energy-efficient bulbs.

Hard Rock

The Hard Rock gives guests a taste of the suite life with 17 new themed rooms — from the peacefully feng shui Infinity Suite to the artsy-edgy Sex & Pistols Penthouse. Comforts include hot tubs and butler service, plus a variety of motifs for a variety of tastes. The Provocateur, for example, is a fetishfilled space with projector-powered female silhouettes and dominatrix accessories on display. The Nirvana offers a more saintly side of paradise, with cream and blue hues, an outdoor terrace and a heated plunge pool.
