Golden Gate Hotel & Casino Golden
Gate Hotel & Casino recently celebrated its 75 anniversary with its
first major renovation in five decades. The 122-room boutique hotel has
added a five-story luxury tower with 16 suites — some named in honor of
members of the Rat Pack (Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jr.
stayed and played at the Golden Gate in the ’50s). Modern in-suite
amenities include 50-inch flat-screen TVs, California king beds and
motion sensors for climate control. The expanded casino features a new
high-limit pit where guests can wager up to $3,000 a hand. The renovated
lobby displays artifacts from the hotel’s history. 1 Fremont St. 800.426.1906 www.goldengatecasino.com
