The Discovery Children’s Museum recently opened in its new downtown digs with 58,000 square feet of interactive exhibits to spark kids’ interests in science, art and culture. The three-story building hosts nine themed exhibition halls, including Mystery Town for young crime-solvers, the 70-foot scalable Summit and the medieval Fantasy Festival, where budding thespians can perform on a life-size pirate ship or a stage fit with regal costumes, backdrops and makeup. The museum is open Tuesday through Sunday. Tickets are $12.
