Joan Jett & The Blackhearts

Long live the night! Eighties rock band Joan Jett & The Blackhearts will be shaking things up on Fremont Street this spring with a May 28 performance on the Third Street Stage. It’s one of a handful of free shows that are a part of the Experience’s Rock of Vegas concert series. This year’s lineup goes through Labor Day Weekend and will showcase artists who have taken music to the edge. www.vegasexperience.com

Sir Anthony Hopkins

Anybody who wonders what Academy Award winner Anthony Hopkins does in his spare time might want to check out the actor’s art exhibition at the Jeff Mitchum Galleries.
