TAKE A SEAT ON FIVE OF LAS VEGAS’ MOST TANTALIZING
THRONES
In an extravagant city like Las Vegas, it should come
as no surprise that the hospitality extends to lavish public lavatories. From
uncommon urinals to a loo with a view, several Vegas johns make a trip to the
bathroom memorable for all the right reasons.
One of the most eye-catching restrooms in the city can
be found at Skyfall Lounge on the 64th floor of Delano Las Vegas. Guests can
take care of business while taking in spectacular sights of the city, as the
women’s restroom features private stalls with floor-to-ceiling windows
overlooking the Strip and the men’s restroom features an expansive window
overlooking the Las Vegas skyline.
For those hoping to brush up on a second language while
going number two (or numero dos) the bathrooms at Julian Serrano’s eponymous
restaurant inside Aria Resort and Casino are both beautiful and educational.
Decorated in shimmering floor-to-ceiling mosaics, the restrooms let guests
multitask while using the facilities, broadcasting humorous Spanish lessons on
their overhead speaker systems.
Men will find a few unique urinals around town, too,
like three made from old beer kegs inside country superstar John Rich’s Redneck
Riviera at Grand Bazaar Shops. Meanwhile, downtown at Main Street Station, history
buffs will find a portion of the Berlin Wall serving a new, perhaps more
fitting purpose: A urinal mount inside the men’s restroom near the casino cage.
For the ultimate lavatory, however, check out the
porcelain palaces at Zeffirino inside Grand Canal Shoppes at The Venetian. The
Italian restaurant once received an award for best bathroom in America after
spending $750,000 to build its restrooms from items imported from Italy. Each
bathroom features luxurious details like limestone columns, Carrera marble and
handcrafted wooden doors, cementing their status as the “best seats in the
house.”
