We have updated our menu to offer seasonal baked goods such as fresh apricot and cherry tarts, macaron desserts, tarte Tatin, strawberry custard cakes and more. Our restaurant menu includes bistro favorites to treat to a piece of France near La Jolla. While The French Gourmet provides full-service catered events, chef Michel Malécot, who grew up in Normandy, France, knows how comforting a good meal at home can be. Clients appreciate the convenience and the high quality of our Parties Made Easy menu, from bite-size hors d’oeuvre, freshly made soups, refreshing salads, chilled ready-to-heat entrees such as ratatouille, chicken pot pie and house-made quiche and more. Hot prime rib dinners are available on Saturdays and on request. Our cakes are made from scratch and can be customized for your special occasion.
