Chikako Tyler serves as executive vice president and chief financial officer of California Bank & Trust, where she leads the bank’s financial strategy and execution across a dynamic and evolving landscape. Since joining CB&T in 2010 as a real estate analyst, she has steadily ascended through key roles in risk management, corporate credit and finance, ultimately becoming CFO in 2018. Under her leadership, CB&T has expanded its presence through the acquisition of four FirstBank branches and achieved meaningful financial milestones, including $10 million in cost savings over four years and a 16% increase in treasury fee revenues within six months. Tyler has also played a pivotal role in the bank’s partnership with San Diego FC, aligning brand growth with financial performance. Passionate about mentorship and inclusion, she founded CB&T’s “Banking on Women” program and launched a statewide mentoring initiative. She currently serves on the board of Accessity and remains active in supporting young entrepreneurs across California.
