Lucy Santana serves as chief executive officer of Girls Inc. of Orange County, where she has led the organization for more than 25 years and transformed it into one of the largest and most impactful affiliates in the nation. Under her leadership, the organization now reaches over 9,200 girls annually through programs designed to build confidence, academic success and leadership skills, particularly among young women facing systemic barriers. A driving force behind Project Accelerate, Santana helped launch the program with national funding from the Equality Can’t Wait Challenge and has scaled participation from 25 to over 100 college-aged women, providing mentorship, paid internships and leadership development across underrepresented industries. She has also expanded summer camp and college readiness programs, secured major philanthropic partnerships with leading corporations and led a significant increase in program reach and operational sustainability. Her leadership extends across the community, where she serves on numerous advisory councils and boards dedicated to youth and cultural empowerment.
