Dear Friends, When I talk about the animals spcaLA has saved and the violence we’ve prevented, you are a big part of that we. You chose to support your local spcaLA – knowing that there is no national spca or humane society. You chose to help those most easily exploited and abused. You chose to be the voice for the voiceless.

You got justice for Thelma and Louise. Seized in an animal cruelty case along with five other dogs the sweet sisters were dangerously underweight, barely possessing the st to stand. Malnutrition stunted their growth, making them look puppies than adults.

You gave them a safe place to stay. You fed them good, nourishing food.

You treated their wounds - mental and physical. You helped them inspire kids dunring summer camp. You found them loving new homes.

You got their abuser - the person who starved and neglected these precious dogs - convicted of animal cruelty.
