Twenty years ago, a group of therapists, teachers and parents envisioned a treatment center dedicated to providing innovative therapy to children with special needs, educating the professionals who would treat them, and investing in research to improve long-term health outcomes. In 1996, that dream became a reality and Pediatric Therapy Network (PTN) was born.

Today, PTN is an internationally recognized, family-centered treatment facility that provides innovative therapy to approximately 2,500 children a year. With locations in Torrance and Long Beach, PTN serves children of all abilities including those with autism spectrum disorder, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, learning disabilities, developmental delays, orthopedic and neurological challenges, and sports-related injuries.

It is only with the support of the community, that PTN is able to achieve its mission: to lead the way in helping children, families and communities reach full capabilities through innovative therapy, education and research programs.

PTN provides physical therapy to help a child take a first step; speech therapy to help a child develop language skills to communicate their ideas and feelings; occupational therapy to help a child develop self-feeding skills and fine motor skills; early intervention to help a child build the foundational skills for the future; and social skills to help a child learn how to make a friend and be a friend.

With each new milestone reached, with each new friendship made, with each new challenge met, Pediatric Therapy Network is there empowering families, touching lives and bringing hope.
