ATOMIC SALOON IS AN EXPRESSIVE FEAST FOR ALL SENSES

Already astounding Vegas audiences with “Absinthe” and “Opium,” Spiegelworld has outdone itself with its new Atomic Saloon Show: an immersive theater bar experience where the performance extends well beyond the stage.

Since its September debut at the at the Venetian Resort, this Wild West-esque wonder has been challenging both preconceptions about Vegas shows, and the very notion of a Sin City night out.

"Given Spiegelworld's reputation in Las Vegas, most patrons know they are coming to see an incredible show," said Rustyn Vaughn Lee, beverage director for Spiegelworld. "But the look on their faces when they see what we have done with the bar is priceless.

There has been as much creativity and attention to detail put into what we deliver off stage as there is on stage."

The story: Atomic Saloon proprietress Boozy Skunkton (portrayed by Petra Massey, formerly of "Zumanity") lost her original watering hole when it was annexed into an atomic bomb test site.

Decades later, she has returned with a wacky reimagining of the Old West in which sexy and eclectic dancers, acrobats, aerial artists, and outlandishly talented townsfolk collide with lowbrow comedy and audience interaction. With just over 230 seats, the resulting Atomic Saloon Show is a marvelously intimate and enveloping.

After a month of selling out Scotland's prestigious Edinburgh Festival Fringe this summer, with 5-star reviews from some of the UK's top publications (The Times of London describing it as a "rodeo on steroids ... louche and delirious"), the Atomic Saloon Show stampeded into Sin City, smashing box office records for Spiegelworld.

Tucked into the Grand Canal Shoppes, the multi-level Atomic Saloon is a work of art in itself, with labyrinth corridors connecting multiple bars and private dining rooms, all adorned with lush woodwork and curated period details. For a great view of the show, Boozy Skunkton's Bawdy Booths - each named after a real historical brothel madam - are perfect. Or, opt for a private "Bang Bang Box" along the balcony, each named for imploded Vegas casinos like Algiers, Silver Slipper and Dunes.

"Atomic Saloon Show plays two shows most nights of the week and, unlike most other theaters in town, we won't kick you out after the curtain has come down," said Spiegelworld "impresario extraordinaire" Ross Mollison. "Stick around for as long as you like and enjoy another drink at the bar while the second audiences are tumbling in."

Transcending traditional stage show concepts while embracing classic vaudeville and burlesque elements, the Atomic Saloon builds an experience - a shamelessly raucous and deliciously debauched world - where Vegas visitors can lose themselves for an evening.
