AHollywood filmmaker, a video game mogul and a pair of cosmetics entrepreneurs were among those to make their marks in L.A. County’s high-end real estate market over the last three weeks. Here’s a look at the priciest home sales that closed in mid- June through early July.

$34,928,200 — Bel-Air In the 10600 block of Bellagio Road, a mansion originally commissioned for the family of the sultan of Brunei sold in an exchange between California limited liability companies. It had been listed for sale at $37.5 million.

The Italian villa-style estate, near Conrad Hilton’s longtime estate in Old Bel-Air, had been offered for as much as $50 million six years ago, records show.

Sitting on 1.5 acres of manicured grounds, the 20,000-squarefoot home was designed for largescale entertaining and features proportioned formal areas, billiards and screening rooms and a wine cellar. An interior cabana/ game room opens to the swimming pool.

Formal gardens, fountains and landscaping fill the property, which overlooks the golf course at the Bel-Air Country Club. There’s also a motor court as well as a subterranean garage.

Jerry Jolton of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage was the listing agent. Joy Denton of Sotheby’s International Realty repped the buyer.

$18.5 million — Bel-Air Adam Bernhard, the founder and chief executive of online marketplace HauteLook, sold his celebrity pedigreed home in the 700 block of Stradella Road to filmmaker James Wan.

The estate, set behind gates on athree-quarter-acre knoll, came to market last year for $24.99 million and was more recently priced at $19.995 million, records show.

Bernhard bought the house, a 1930s Mediterranean with six bedrooms and seven bathrooms, from actress Meg Ryan in 2012 for $11.125 million. Oscar-winning actress Diane Keaton and film director Stan Dragoti are other previous owners.

Within the 9,000 square feet of refined space are interior arches, delicate wood ceilings and wrought-iron railings that retain the home’s original vibe. A screening room/theater, an office and a gym are among the amenities.

The master suite has French doors that open to a loggia, a large lawn and a swimming pool set within flagstone.

Kurt Rappaport and Richard Ehrlich of Westside Estate Agency were the listing agents. Andrea Harris-Shink of Teles Properties represented the buyer.

$16 million — Beverly Hills

Amodern tour de force in the Trousdale Estates area of Beverly Hills sold after coming to market in January for $19.975 million.

Acopy of the grand deed obtained by The Times shows the taxes will be mailed to a Florida home owned by businessman Ogale Ray and his wife, Wendy Lewis. The couple are the founders of the skin care and supplements company Jeunesse Global.

Built in 1976 and recently renovated, the single-story contemporary sits on nearly half an acre in the 500 block of Chalette Road and has a glass-enclosed garage and a gated motor court. Clean lines, walls of glass and black Antolini marble finishes give the 7,430- square-foot house a polished look.

Atheater room, an office, formal living and dining rooms and six bedrooms make up the open floor plan. A grand suite bedroom has its own kitchenette and a private reflecting pool.

Ernie Carswell and Christopher Pickett, both with Teles Properties, and Steve Frankel of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage were the listing agents. Shay Gozlan of Innovative Property Strategies represented the buyer.

$15.85 million — Beverly Hills

Agated Mediterranean estate on more than an acre in the 1100 block of Laurel Way sold to a real estate investment and property management company based in Arcadia in an off-market deal.

Built in 2004, the 9,370-squarefoot home features grand-scale formal rooms with limestone floors, cove lighting and crown molding. A row of pillars and arches extends between the formal entry and a living room with a bar.

The master suite has his and hers bathrooms, two dressing rooms and gym, for a total of seven bedrooms and nine bathrooms.

An outdoor kitchen, a fireplace and a saltwater swimming pool with a slide and waterfall feature highlight the grounds.

$13.085 million — Malibu

Riot Games co-founder Marc Merrill, through a California limited liability company, bought an oceanfront home in Malibu.

Designed by Scott Gillen and built in 2013, the 7,800-square-foot house has a contemporary coastal vibe.

Open-plan interiors are awash in hand-scraped oak floors, exposed wood-beam ceilings and white walls; Fleetwood sliding doors bring the outdoors inside.

Achef’s kitchen, a family room, amedia/living room, four bedrooms and four bathrooms lie within the home. A floating staircase forged of stainless steel connects both floors.

Sandro Dazzan and Irene Dazzan-Palmer of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage were the listing agents.
