K. Luan Tran is a trailblazer in Vietnam-related trade and legal issues. He previously co-founded the largest minority-owned disputes law firm in the U.S. (with over 35 attorneys) that was recognized by the National Law Journal as one of the top 10 litigation boutiques in the country. Currently, he is a partner with the international law firm of King & Spalding and a member of the firm’s international arbitration practice, ranked No. 1 worldwide by Global Arbitration Review 2020.

Tran was a board member and is a current councilmember of the American Arbitration Association and the International Centre for Dispute Resolution. He is currently on the U.S. Arbitrator Nominations Committee for the International Chamber of Commerce. He was also a member of the Law 360 International Arbitration Advisory Committee and among the few first-chair trial and international arbitration lawyers with active U.S. and Southeast Asia practices.
