Jacqueline Erickson Russell

Founder & CEO

Jacqueline Erickson Russell is the founder and CEO of Social Impact Advising Group, where she leverages 15 years of philanthropic and nonprofit strategy experience to help family foundations and social sector leaders increase impact. A specialist in foundation succession planning and inclusive community engagement, she previously led strategy for the $2.6 billion Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, where she incubated and funded more than 10 nonprofit initiatives serving over 540 education leaders annually. Russell’s work focused on aligning grantmaking with measurable DEI outcomes and fostering national collaboration through participatory philanthropy. Earlier in her career, she launched a charter school talent department and served with Teach For America. Under her leadership, Social Impact Advising designed an accelerator for underrepresented social entrepreneurs that received international recognition for equity and inclusion. Russell is an active member of the Orange County philanthropic community, serving on the board of Families Forward and mentoring youth through Big Brothers Big Sisters while supporting local faith-based outreach efforts.
