Stephan Erkelens is the president, CEO and cofounder of RevHub Orange County, where he applies four decades of entrepreneurial and investment experience to drive innovation in the social enterprise sector. With a background in commodities, venture capital and executive leadership across the Americas, he founded RevHub in 2019 to incubate startups addressing systemic social and environmental issues. Under his leadership, RevHub has supported more than 6,500 entrepreneurs through its NorthSTAR initiative, raised over $14 million in capital and earned national recognition from the SBA and ImpactAssets. Erkelens has pioneered efforts to diversify venture funding and guided RevHub’s selection as UCI’s partner for its Climate Action Business Incubator. He is a recognized advocate for impact-adjusted valuation models and helping redefine how businesses are measured by both profit and purpose. In 2024, his efforts culminated in RevHub becoming synonymous with social enterprise in Orange County—a testament to his leadership, vision and systemic approach to impact.
