Alex Bhathal is the co-founder and managing partner of Revitate and RAJ Capital, where he combines leadership in private investment with a long-standing passion for sports and community development. He also serves as executive director and co-owner of Sacramento Basketball Holdings, overseeing the Sacramento Kings (NBA), Stockton Kings (G-League), MiLB’s River Cats and the Golden 1 Center and Downtown Commons. In 2024, Bhathal expanded his sports leadership by acquiring the Portland Thorns (NWSL) and securing the WNBA expansion team for Portland, where he now serves as Alternate Governor for both. Recognized for his visionary approach, he was named the Orange County Business Journal’s “Businessperson of the Year” in 2025 and received the “Excellence in Entrepreneurship” Award in 2023. He also earned the 2019 “Opportunity Zone Investor of the Year” distinction from GlobeSt.com. Bhathal serves on the boards of Compass Diversified (NYSE: CODI) and Mark IV Capital and chairs the California Coast Chapter of YPO, driving innovation across sectors.
